Between Seasons (Summer into Fall Edition) - Class Series

In this series, the practices are focused on cultivating a sense of stability as you build your foundation from the pelvis. A balanced pelvis is the first step to help you stand up strong on your two feet. The practices will also improve your connection to your feet, ankles, and lower legs. You will move your body in a variety of ways and take your joints through full ranges of motion.

 

There are two ways that you can enjoy this class series:

  • The library contains all the Ayurveda workshops and Yoga class series Padmasri created and more. You can enjoy taking care of your wrists and learning about ayurvedic cooking. Practice a heart-focused meditation and learn different effective breathwork techniques! Choose how long you want to have access and begin your journey bringing Yoga & Ayurveda to your daily life now!

  • If you can get overwhelmed with more than one workshop, enroll in this class only and enjoy it for 30 days!

 

The sessions are designed to:

1. Care for pitta dosha (fire & water) and vata dosha (air & ether). This means that our practice will help to manage heat but will be modified to help us to arrive at the fall season without feeling frazzled or shriveled up into a prune =)

2. Keep our tissues hydrated, supple, and young with more varied and biomechanically sound movements. Hydration is not just a matter of drinking more water. Movement is essential for keeping our tissues mobile and hydrated. 

3. Support stability and groundedness through foot work, pelvic balance, core stability, and breathing practices to counter the tendency of feeling scattered and anxious due to summer heat that leads to dryness.

4. Foster relaxation as a way of being. We will cultivate a sense of ease that we can bring with us as we face our challenges and obstacles on and off the mat, supporting stability and groundedness.

5. Take you through a holistic approach. You’ll work on the full spectrum of classical practices cultivating sattva - balance, harmony, and the light of consciousness.
